Our client, a leading organisation in the water sector, is currently seeking a Sub Agent to join their team. The role involves supporting the Construction and Project delivery teams on Projects as part of the AMP8 Framework Agreement with United Utilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting project team in achieving all legal and industry standards.
  • Ensuring H&S management arrangements are in place throughout the project.
  • Administering the Project Management Plan and ensuring Quality Assurance is met.
  • Ensuring staff have necessary training and experience for their roles.
  • Understanding all aspects of the client contract and supply chain contracts.
  • Supporting PM & QS in supply chain notifications and project cost management.
  • Proficiency in client’s digital platforms and ensuring project outputs are communicated effectively.
  • Managing stakeholder accountability in relation to programme obligations.
  • Escalating project issues and risks to PM or QS with mitigation plans.
  • Leading project governance from a client-facing perspective with required documentation.

Job Requirements:

  • Degree qualified or equivalent in Civil Engineering
  • Knowledge of relevant H&S legislation, particularly CDM duty holder relationships.
  • H&S qualification (SMSTS/IOSH/NEBOSH).
  • Membership of a relevant professional body (e.g. APM, CMI, ICE).
  • Experience in delivering multi-disciplinary projects.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills.
  • Self-motivated, resilient, and tenacious under pressure.
  • Leadership and management skills.
  • Full driving licence.
