Our client, a leading organisation in the water sector, is currently seeking a Sub Agent to join their team. The role involves supporting the Construction and Project delivery teams on Projects as part of the AMP8 Framework Agreement with United Utilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting project team in achieving all legal and industry standards.
- Ensuring H&S management arrangements are in place throughout the project.
- Administering the Project Management Plan and ensuring Quality Assurance is met.
- Ensuring staff have necessary training and experience for their roles.
- Understanding all aspects of the client contract and supply chain contracts.
- Supporting PM & QS in supply chain notifications and project cost management.
- Proficiency in client’s digital platforms and ensuring project outputs are communicated effectively.
- Managing stakeholder accountability in relation to programme obligations.
- Escalating project issues and risks to PM or QS with mitigation plans.
- Leading project governance from a client-facing perspective with required documentation.
Job Requirements:
- Degree qualified or equivalent in Civil Engineering
- Knowledge of relevant H&S legislation, particularly CDM duty holder relationships.
- H&S qualification (SMSTS/IOSH/NEBOSH).
- Membership of a relevant professional body (e.g. APM, CMI, ICE).
- Experience in delivering multi-disciplinary projects.
- Strong stakeholder management skills.
- Self-motivated, resilient, and tenacious under pressure.
- Leadership and management skills.
- Full driving licence.
