Machine Operator

Our client based in the Normanton area, have an immediate requirement to recruit 3 well versed Machine Operators to join their team.
Duties Include:
- Operate the appropriate machinery to produce products of the required quality and within customers specifications.
- Constantly monitor output to ensure that it is of the standard required, rejecting any that does not meet the standards.
- Take appropriate corrective action to rectify problems as they may occur.
- Make any necessary adjustments to machinery to ensure that the required product quality is maintained.
- Ensure any adjustments made are recorded and documented within the SPC procedures.
- Ensure all relevant information is accurately input into the companys business system for shop floor data collection purposes.
- Carry out the required QA testing to ensure the product meets customers requirements and strict specifications and accurately record results.
- Ensure the operation of the machinery remains within minimum waste, and quality rejects.
- Assist in the general preventative maintenance of the machine including cleaning of heads etc.
Ideal candidates will be able to demonstrate a strong track record of machine operation working to high quality standards.
This is a permanent role where you will be expected to work the following shift pattern:
Week 1 – Wednesday, Thursday and Friday DAYS ( 6am – 6pm )
Week 2 – Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday NIGHTS (6pm – 6am )
Week 3 – Monday & Tuesday DAYS, Wednesday OFF, Thursday and Friday Nights
In return you can expect a starting salary of £28k – £31225
Salary: £28000 – £31225/annum Excellent Benefits Package
