SEND Tutor – Liverpool
Prospero Teaching are seeking a passionate SEND Tutor to provide individualised support to learners across Liverpool!
The Opportunity
We are looking for experienced teachers, tutors and mentors to deliver 1:1 educational support to children and young people with a range of additional needs.
The successful tutor will build a positive relationship with their learner and create engaging sessions tailored to their individual abilities, interests and educational goals.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working on a personalised basis and wants to make a genuine difference to a young person’s education.
Position Details:
- Location: Liverpool
- Position: SEND Tutor
- Hours: 5-15 hours per week
- Start Date: September 2026
- Duration: Ongoing
Experience, Training and Qualifications:
- Previous experience working with children or young people with SEND
- Teaching, tutoring or mentoring experience
- Experience supporting SEMH, Autism, ADHD or other additional needs
- QTS or equivalent qualification desirable
- Patient, creative and adaptable approach
To be eligible for this role,
- Hold the Right to Work in the UK
- Hold an enhanced DBS certificate registered with the Update Service or be willing to process a new application
- Provide two professional child-related references
