Arrival Support Assistant
Location: Central Liverpool
Pay Rate: £13.58 per hour
Hours of Work: Saturday and Sunday only. Varied shifts depending on location examples include 08:0016:00, 09:0017:00, 10:0018:00, 11:0019:00, and 12:0020:00.
Contract Duration: Temporary, starting 5th 20th September
We are seeking several Temporary Arrival Support Assistants to help our client during the busy September student move-in period. This is a hands‑on, people-focused role where youll play a key part in creating a smooth and welcoming arrival experience for new students.
Purpose of the Role
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome and greet students on arrival.
- Support with carrying luggage to rooms as required.
- Provide assistance with parking duties when needed.
- Act as a visible and approachable point of contact during move-in.
- Liaise with reception, maintenance, student support, or safety teams when needed.
Ideal Candidate
- Friendly, approachable, and well‑organised.
- Confident working in a fast‑paced environment with high volumes of arrivals.
- Strong communication skills and good local knowledge.
- Able to signpost students to relevant support services when required.
