We are seeking a dedicated, caring and enthusiastic 1:1 Teaching Assistant to provide individual support to a pupil within our school.
The successful candidate will work closely with the pupil, class teacher, SENCO and other relevant professionals to support the pupil’s learning, communication, wellbeing and inclusion within the school environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide dedicated 1:1 support to the pupil throughout the school day.
- Use British Sign Language (BSL) to support effective communication and access to learning.
- Adapt activities and resources to meet the pupil’s individual needs.
- Support the pupil’s academic, social and emotional development.
- Encourage independence, confidence and active participation in school life.
- Work collaboratively with teaching staff, parents/carers and external professionals where appropriate.
- Maintain accurate records and contribute to reviews and support plans.

Essential Requirements
