Your World Healthcare is working with a highly regarded service in Leicester to recruit a specialist Women’s Health Physiotherapist for an exciting locum opportunity at band 6 level. This is a rewarding role within a dedicated and supportive team, with an hourly pay rate of £24.00 – £26.00 P/H all-inclusive.
Requirements
- A minimum of 12 months of post-registration NHS experience in Women’s Health Physiotherapy, including pelvic floor assessment and rehabilitation, ante- and postnatal care, and management of pelvic girdle pain (PGP).
- Completion of a recognised postgraduate qualification or training in Women’s Health Physiotherapy (e.g. POGP-accredited course or equivalent).
- Experience in the assessment and treatment of pelvic organ prolapse, bladder and bowel dysfunction, and pelvic pain conditions.
- Familiarity with internal examination techniques and competence in performing vaginal and/or anorectal assessments, in line with POGP guidelines.
- Experience with real-time ultrasound (RTUS) for pelvic floor biofeedback is desirable.
- A Physiotherapy degree (MSc or BSc) and current HCPC registration.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a sensitive, patient-centred approach.
- Availability to start within 2 weeks of confirmation and commitment to a minimum of 3 months.
