Safety, Health, Environment and Quality Advisor

Leatherhead | up to £40,000 + Car Allowance and Benefits

A well-established specialist contractor is looking to appoint a Safety, Health, Environment and Quality (SHEQ) Advisor to support its teams across London.

This is a great opportunity for a SHEQ professional looking to develop their experience within a busy construction environment, covering a range of projects across the M&E and property maintenance sectors. You will work alongside operational teams and provide practical support to help maintain strong Health and Safety standards.

Responsibilities

  • Supporting the implementation of Health and Safety policies and procedures
  • Carrying out regular site visits and providing advice to managers and teams
  • Completing audits and inspections across projects
  • Supporting accident investigations and helping identify improvements
  • Keeping up to date with relevant Health and Safety legislation and requirements

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a similar Health and Safety role
  • Experience within construction, fit out, refurbishment or a related environment
  • NEBOSH Certificate or working towards one
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage a varied workload
  • Good communication skills and the confidence to work with different stakeholders
  • A full UK driving licence is essential.
