We are currently recruiting for an experienced Site Manager to work on a large commercial construction project in Knottingley.

The successful candidate will have a strong background managing large-scale commercial construction projects and will be responsible for the day-to-day management of site, ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently and to the required quality standards.

Site Manager duties will include:

  • Managing and coordinating day-to-day site activities
  • Managing subcontractors and trades on site
  • Ensuring works are completed in accordance with drawings, specifications and programme
  • Monitoring progress against the construction programme
  • Carrying out site inductions, toolbox talks and daily briefings
  • Maintaining high standards of health and safety across the project
  • Coordinating with the Project Manager, subcontractors and wider project team
  • Managing site logistics and ensuring good housekeeping standards
  • Monitoring quality and resolving issues as they arise
  • Maintaining accurate site records and documentation

Site Manager requirements:

  • Strong understanding of construction processes and site management
  • Valid SMSTS Certificate essential
  • Valid First Aid Certificate essential
  • Valid CSCS Managers Card essential
  • Excellent knowledge of construction health and safety
  • Strong communication and subcontractor management skills
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and maintain programme deadlines
  • Must be prepared to work some weekends when required

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Site Manager to join a large commercial project in the Knottingley area.

Salary: £330 – £350/annum Freelance Contract, Ongoing
