We are currently recruiting for an experienced Site Engineer to work on a construction project in Knottingley.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day engineering requirements on site, working alongside the Site Manager and wider project team.
Site Engineer duties:
- Setting out and surveying works on site
- Checking line, level and dimensions
- Working from construction drawings and specifications
- Carrying out quality checks and maintaining accurate site records
- Completing as-built surveys and associated documentation
- Liaising with Site Managers, subcontractors and other engineers
- Identifying and resolving technical issues on site
- Ensuring works are completed safely and in accordance with specifications
Site Engineer requirements:
- Previous experience working as a Site Engineer on UK construction projects
- Strong setting-out experience
- Experience using total station/GPS surveying equipment
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Good understanding of construction site health and safety
- Relevant engineering qualification or demonstrable industry experience
- Valid CSCS card
