Salary: £38,000 - £45,000 per year (negotiable) + overtime
We have been instructed by an up and coming renewable energy specialist to find them an experienced Heat Pump Engineer (air source / ground source) to join the core team. Their ambition is to be a significant contributor to the UK’s production of renewable energy and accelerate the transition to a net zero future.
The business delivers installation & maintenance across Heat Pumps, Solar PV, Battery Storage, EV Charging, and general electrical services. It is more important to find the right fit than necessarily an Engineer with renewables qualifications.
The team is small, the ambition is huge and they want this person to learn and grow along with the business – someone that’s excited by renewables and would love to have their contribution recognised and fully appreciated! The Heat Pump Engineer's role:
You will be responsible for installations, maintenance and testing across renewable energy system projects. Full training can be given.
Key Heat Pump Engineer's responsibilities:
- Install and maintain air source and ground source heat pumps
- Fault finding and repairs
Heat Pump Engineer ideal qualifications:
- NVQ Level 3 Plumbing & Heating
- Qualification in ground and air source installations
- Manufacturers’ heat pump training course
- G3 unvented
- CSCS card
- Full UK driving licence
