We are currently recruiting for an experienced Site Manager to join a leading main contractor on a long-term residential housing project in London.
The successful candidate will have a strong background managing internal works and finishes on residential or housing developments, with previous experience working for a main contractor.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage internal works and finishing packages across the development.
- Coordinate subcontractors and trades to ensure works are delivered safely, on programme and to a high standard.
- Monitor quality, progress and productivity across the site.
- Carry out regular inspections and ensure works are completed in line with drawings and specifications.
- Coordinate with the wider site management and construction team.
- Manage snagging and ensure outstanding works are closed out efficiently.
- Maintain high standards of health & safety and site organisation.
- Liaise with subcontractors, suppliers and site teams to resolve any issues.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Site Manager with a main contractor.
- Strong residential / housing background.
- Experience managing internals and finishing works.
- Strong knowledge of new-build residential construction.
- SMSTS.
- CSCS.
- First Aid.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Able to commit to a long-term freelance position.
