Your new role

The Change Partner is responsible for supporting the delivery and adoption of business change initiatives, working closely with leaders, stakeholders and project teams to embed new ways of working across the organisation, covering a diverse portfolio of projects covering digital, cultural, facilities and capital infrastructure related initiatives. As the Change Partner, you will help assess change impacts, develop engagement/communication plans, manage stakeholder relationships, and ensure colleagues are supported through transition.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement change management plans, ensuring business readiness, stakeholder engagement and successful adoption of new processes, systems and ways of working.
  • Partner with project teams and operational stakeholders to assess change impacts, identify risks and support the delivery of key business transformation initiatives.
  • Design and deliver communications, engagement activities, training and coaching interventions to support employees throughout the change journey.
  • Provide expert advice, guidance and support to managers and change leads, helping to build change management capability across the organisation.
  • Monitor, track and report on change adoption, stakeholder feedback and benefits realisation, recommending actions to address resistance and improve outcomes.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of change frameworks, tools and best practices, while supporting communities of practice and assuring the quality of change approaches.

What you’ll need to succeed

  • Proven experience delivering successful change and transformation initiatives within complex environments, ideally within Public Services and/or the Transports sectors.
  • Professional accreditations and strong understanding of change management frameworks and methodologies such as Prosci, ADKAR, APMG Change Management and MSP.
  • Proven ability to engage, influence and build credibility with stakeholders at all levels, including senior leaders, operational teams, trade unions and employee representative groups.
  • Experience conducting change impact assessments, stakeholder analysis, readiness assessments and benefits realisation activities to support successful change adoption.
  • Strong communication, facilitation and coaching skills, with the ability to design and deliver workshops, training and engagement activities that support behavioural and cultural change.
  • Track record of successfully embedding new processes, systems and ways of working within complex, multi-stakeholder environments.
  • Resilient and adaptable change professional, capable of working through ambiguity, managing resistance and maintaining momentum to deliver measurable business outcomes.
