Our well-established client, who have been trading for over 40 years, are currently recruiting for an Office Administrator to join their close-knit team on a full-time basis within their Gloucester office. This is a varied administrative role where you will provide support across the business, helping to keep the day-to-day running of the office organised and efficient. You will be involved in everything from managing enquiries and maintaining records to assisting with accounts administration, producing invoices and supporting the wider team.
Whilst previous office experience would be beneficial, our client is happy to consider candidates with transferable experience who are keen to learn and have a positive, proactive approach. Most importantly, you will be organised, proactive and comfortable managing a variety of tasks in a busy environment. Responsibilities:
- Managing and maintaining schedules and calendars
- Preparing and editing documents using Microsoft Word and PowerPoint
- Answering telephone calls and responding to emails
- Updating and maintaining accurate records using Excel and internal systems
- Assisting with accounts administration, including producing invoices
- Responding to customer enquiries and providing a high level of customer service
- Prioritising and managing a varied workload to meet deadlines
- General administration and supporting the wider team where required
Hours: Monday Thursday 8am 4:45pm, Friday 8am 4pm with an hour for lunch
Salary: Up to £27,000 per annum depending on experience + 25 days holiday plus bank holidays free parking and annual salary reviews
