About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and reliable Pedestrian Crane Operator to join our clients team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of pedestrian-operated cranes on construction and lifting projects across the UK.

Key Responsibilities

  • Safely operate pedestrian-operated cranes in accordance with company procedures and site requirements.
  • Carry out lifting and moving operations safely and efficiently.
  • Complete pre-use checks and report any defects or maintenance issues.
  • Follow lifting plans, site rules and health & safety procedures.
  • Work closely with slingers/signallers, site managers and other contractors.
  • Ensure loads are secured and lifted in a safe and controlled manner.
  • Maintain accurate records and daily equipment checks.
  • Keep the work area clean, organised and safe.
  • Comply with all relevant UK legislation and industry standards.

Requirements

  • Proven experience operating pedestrian cranes.
  • CPCS or NPORS certification appropriate to the equipment being operated.
  • Good understanding of lifting operations and site health & safety.
  • Able to read and follow lifting plans and instructions.
  • Good communication skills and a strong team-working attitude.
