Stores Person - Day/Back Shift
Location: West of Scotland Science Park
Pay: £13.25 per hour
Hours: 40 hours per week
Are you organised, reliable, and comfortable working in a busy Goods In and Stores environment? We're hiring a Material Handler to join our team at the West of Scotland Science Park.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Receiving and processing incoming goods.
- Checking deliveries against purchase orders to confirm the correct items and quantities have been received.
- Checking goods for damage, discrepancies or missing items and reporting any issues.
- Booking incoming goods accurately using the Kardex system.
- Recording and maintaining accurate goods-receiving information.
- Allocating and storing materials in the appropriate locations.
- Maintaining accurate physical and system stock records.
- Ensuring materials are stored securely and in accordance with company procedures.
- Maintaining excellent housekeeping standards across the Goods In and Stores areas.
- Following all Health & Safety, quality, and operational procedures.

What We're Looking For:
- Previous stores, warehouse, Goods In, materials handling or manufacturing experience is beneficial.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Reliable, punctual and able to work independently and as part of a wider team.
- Positive attitude and willingness to support the wider stores operation.
- Good computer skills and confidence using computerised systems.
- Ability to check deliveries and documentation against purchase orders.
- Good organisational and time-management skills.
- Experience with Kardex systems is advantageous but not essential.
