MTrec Commercial are currently supporting our highly successful and prestigious client on their search for an experienced Transport Planner to join their growing team on a full time and permanent basis.

The Role you will be doing;

  • Successfully manage an established and reputable HGV fleet
  • Successfully plan and maintain an HGV fleet
  • Ensure clear and pro-active communication with drivers and customers alike
  • Costing and planning routes for the HGV fleet
  • Ensuring excellent administration at all times throughout planning and execution
  • Laise with contractors as and when required
  • Representing our clients brand in a professional and diligent manner at all times
  • Managing sub-contractors when required to do so

About you;

  • Proven experience working with HVG Fleet
  • Proven transport planning experience
  • Costings and financial experience in regards to transport planning
  • Extremely comfortable dealing with customers, drivers and clients
  • Previous route planning experience
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Excellent planning ability
  • Knowledge and prior experience of curtain sizes and similar related aspects hugely beneficial
