Role: Shift Maintenance Engineer
Salary: £40,000 - £42,000 per annum
Hours: Rotating shift pattern (Early's/lates)
Location: Commutable from Malmesbury, Faringdon, Chippenham, Swindon

We are recruiting for a Maintenance Engineer to work within a large industrial company at one of their automated factories.

Shift Maintenance Engineer Responsibilities:
Maintenance Engineers (Shift Engineers) support the production machinery including reactive, trouble-shooting and repair tasks, planned preventative maintenance, new installations and refurbishments. This would suit a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer who likes variation, looking to upskill in electrical maintenance and fault finding, to work across a range of machinery and equipment, who arent afraid to apply themselves and learn.
Shift Maintenance Engineer Requirements:
- A minimum of 3 years maintenance experience working in a manufacturing/process environment. (mechanical or electrical bias)
- Completed an Engineering Level 3 and 4 NVQ qualification. A Higher National Diploma will be a distinct advantage or C&G equivalent.
- You will be self-motivated, able to make decisions and react quickly to the needs of the business.
- Ability to develop effective working relationships across all levels of management and staff and work as part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills, written and verbal. (Inc. use of MS Office)
- To record PPM information into a CMMS system accurately.
- A logical approach to fault finding with a high attention to detail.
- Able to travel to offsite training facilities and other factories in the group, as and when required
- Have ANY of the following experience; conveyors, boilers, packaging, bearings, belts, 3 phase, motors, sensors, inverters, relays, contactors, 3 phase, PLCs, pneumatics, hydraulics, belts, bearings etc. any of these will be considered
- Friendly and adaptable working attitude
- Proactive work attitude and keen to get your hands dirty
