About the role

We are seeking experienced and motivated Senior Resourcing Officers to join our Recruitment and Selection Team, based at either Devon & Cornwall Police Headquarters, Exeter, or Dorset Police Headquarters, Winfrith. We are recruiting for:

  • one permanent position (37 hours per week*)
  • one temporary maternity cover position until 30 November 2027 (37 hours per week*)
  • a reserve pool for future vacancies anticipated during 2027.

As a Senior Resourcing Officer, you will provide professional advice and leadership across a range of recruitment and resourcing activities. You will work collaboratively with colleagues and stakeholders to ensure recruitment campaigns, promotions and postings are delivered effectively, efficiently and in line with best practice. You will also support and develop members of the Resourcing team, helping to create a positive and high-performing environment.

The selection process

Applicants successful through the application shortlisting process will be invited to an interview, which will include a role-related exercise. Details of the exercise, including the subject matter, will be provided in advance to shortlisted candidates.
