Great opportunity for a reliable and hands-on LGV / Van Driver to join an established and growing water treatment business based in Dartford. This is a varied role combining driving, deliveries, warehouse/stores duties and general operational support, with the successful candidate covering sites across London and the Home Counties.
The ideal candidate will have previous driving or delivery experience, with a plumbing, pipefitting, mechanical or water treatment background being highly beneficial. You will be responsible for delivering equipment and materials to site, while also supporting the warehouse and stores function when required. This would suit someone practical, organised and reliable who enjoys a varied, hands-on working environment.
Your Role As A LGV / Van Driver Will Include:
- Delivering water treatment equipment, materials and products across London and the Home Counties
- Loading/unloading vehicles and assisting site teams with deliveries and collections
- Managing warehouse stock, including receiving, checking and preparing materials
- Maintaining a clean, organised and safe stores/warehouse environment
- Supporting the wider team with general operational and practical duties when required
The Successful LGV / Van Driver Will Have:
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Previous driving/delivery experience, ideally with some warehouse or stores experience
- Plumbing, pipefitting, mechanical or water treatment experience would be highly beneficial
- Good understanding of plumbing materials, pipework and fittings would be advantageous
- Reliable, practical and hands-on approach with good organisational and communication skills
