Responsibilities and duties of the Electrical Project Manager role
Reporting to the Operations Manager you will:
- Take ownership of a portfolio of works, including Solar, BESS, EV Charging and Substations projects, from start to finish.
- Programming and Planning of works.
- Take commercial and technical responsibility over your projects.
- Subcontractor management and negotiations.
- Regular CVR reporting.
- Providing managerial, commercial and technical support from planning of projects through to handover.
Professional qualifications
We are looking for someone with the following:
- 18th Edition.
- City & Guilds 2391.
- Either a certified electrician or qualified electrical engineer.
- Experience on relevant projects (solar, BESS, substation, EV charging, HV works).
- SAP either currently or previously (33kv minimum).
- Strong commercial project management experience.
- Chartership is desirable.
Personal skills
The Electrical Project Management role would suit someone who is:
- A self-starter, and ready to hit the ground running.
- Confident and experienced in running a portfolio of projects.
- Happy to travel, as this role will involve travel to sites.
