Role Overview:
The firm is seeking an experienced Personal Tax Senior to join its growing tax team. This role offers the chance to manage a diverse client portfolio, work closely with colleagues in a collaborative environment, and develop your career within a firm that values progression and staff development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review personal tax computations, including self-assessment returns for individuals, partnerships, and trusts.
- Advise clients on tax planning opportunities and compliance matters.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as the primary point of contact for your portfolio.
- Support junior team members through mentoring, review of work, and guidance on technical matters.
- Stay up to date with changes in tax legislation and implement best practices within the team.
Requirements
Candidate Requirements:
- ACA/ACCA/CTA part-qualified, or ATT Qualified.
- Significant experience in personal tax within an accountancy practice.
- Strong technical knowledge of UK personal tax and associated legislation.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work autonomously.
- A collaborative and client-focused approach, aligned with the firms supportive culture.
