Morgan Advanced Materials is seeking a hands-on Technical Supervisor to support our injection moulding operation and ensure tooling is maintained, organised, and production-ready.
What you’ll be doing
- Supervising and maintaining production tooling to ensure quality and reliability.
- Carrying out minor tooling repairs and coordinating larger repairs with technical engineers.
- Managing tooling records, locations, shot counts, and die store organisation.
- Supporting production teams with tooling, machine operation, and tool-setting training.
- Conducting tooling inspections, first-run checks, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
- Working closely with Production, Planning, and Technical teams to ensure smooth operations.
What we’re looking for
- Previous experience with tooling processes and machine operation.
- Good understanding of health & safety and manufacturing best practices.
- Strong organisational skills with experience maintaining records and databases.
- Competent IT skills, including Excel.
- Forklift licence desirable.
- A proactive, team-focused approach with a commitment to quality and continuous improvement.
