We’re looking for a hands‑on Commissioning Engineer to support the testing, verification, and commissioning of packaged plant rooms and modular pump systems for HVAC and Data Centre solutions. This role is ideal for an electrically‑strong engineer with solid mechanical understanding, confident in customer‑facing environments and experienced in commissioning and FAT/SAT.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out electrical and mechanical commissioning of packaged systems, including control panels, PLCs, inverters, instrumentation, and pumps
- Support FAT/SAT procedures, documentation, and client witness testing
- Conduct site‑based functional testing, validation, and troubleshooting, fault finding and problem solving
- Work closely with project managers, engineering, and service teams
- Maintain accurate commissioning records, test documentation, and compliance with RAMS and HSE standards
- Assist with O&M documentation and certification
About You
- HNC/HND or degree in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent)
- Proven commissioning experience in HVAC, Data Centre, or industrial fluid systems
- Strong understanding of electrical controls, PLCs, inverters, and instrumentation
- Good mechanical knowledge: pumps, valves, filters, pipework
- Confident reading schematics, fault‑finding, and resolving technical issues
- Excellent communication and customer‑facing skills
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across the UK and Europe
