School Catering Assistant on the outskirts of York - Term Time Only - Monday to Friday - £12.85 per hour (9.30am - 1.30pm).

Are you looking for a role that offers school holidays off? Would you like to help prepare and serve lunches to school children? Due to their expansion, we are looking for a school catering assistant to join the team at a local primary school.

Working with other members of the catering team you will:

  • Work with the School Chef to prepare food
  • Serve food to pupils
  • Keep the kitchen area clean and tidy including pot wash duties

This would be an ideal role if you have some experience in catering, hospitality, food production or cooking and you are looking for a term time only position. Due to the nature of the role, an enhanced DBS check will be required.

You will be working for a Yorkshire Academy Trust who operate primary schools across North and West Yorkshire. Their kitchens are friendly and welcoming places with supportive management teams.
