Location: Gatwick Airport, RH6

Start Date: Monday

Hours: 7:30am - 3:30pm

Rate: £200 - £220 per day, with flexibility for the right candidate

Duration: 4 weeks, with potential for a longer-term extension

The Role:

We are currently looking for Data Cabling Engineers to work on a project at Gatwick Airport. The successful candidates will be responsible for installing and terminating data cabling, working across communications rooms and completing 2nd-fix works.

Duties:

  • Installing CAT6 data cables
  • Installing fibre links between communications rooms
  • Completing 2nd-fix data works
  • Cable routing, containment and installation
  • Working to a high standard within an active airport environment
  • Following site health & safety procedures

Requirements:

  • IPAF required
  • Must hold either a CSCS or ECS Card
  • Previous data cabling experience required
  • Experience with CAT6 and fibre installations
  • Must be able to pass a DBS check (candidates do not need to already have a DBS in place to start)
  • Reliable and able to work professionally within an airport environment

This is an immediate opportunity starting Monday, with the potential for the right candidates to secure further work beyond the initial 4 weeks.

Salary: £200 – £220/day
