About the Role
As an Early Years Teacher, you will deliver engaging, play-based learning experiences that support children's academic, social, emotional, and physical development. You will create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment while delivering the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum and ensuring every child reaches their full potential.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and deliver engaging, child-centred learning in line with the EYFS framework.
- Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment
- Observe, assess, and monitor children's progress and development
- Support children's communication, language, literacy, and numeracy skills
- Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
- Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all children, including those with SEND and EAL
- Contribute to curriculum planning and wider school initiatives
- Uphold safeguarding procedures and promote the wellbeing of all children
About You
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Experience teaching within the Early Years Foundation Stage (ECTs are welcome to apply)
- Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework and early childhood development
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills
- Passion for delivering creative, play-based learning experiences
- Commitment to supporting every child's development and wellbeing
- A caring, patient, and collaborative approach to teaching and learning
- Dedication to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
