The predicted salary is between 15 - 15 £ per hour.

Ashberry recruitment are currently looking for an experienced Housing support candidate to work at a service in Barnsley, South Yorkshire. The service is run by a well-established housing organisation that provides support for young homeless people across the UK.

Day-to-day, you would be:

  • Monitoring the safety/security of the building/young people
  • Keeping accurate logs of any contact with the service users and the times they leave & enter the service
  • Interacting with the young people and ensuring they feel safe and giving them any support or advice they may need
  • Completing any tasks given by senior members of staff or tasks that have been given on a schedule

Service Information:

  • Lone working (must have experience in this)
  • 16-18 Year Olds
  • Self-contained flats
  • Staff MUST stay on site

What is needed:

  • Enhanced Child & Adult DBS
  • Experience working with young people
  • Experience working in a housing support setting or a supported accommodation setting for homeless individuals
  • Passion for helping people improve their lives and a drive to help people work towards living independently
  • Experience lone working in a supported accommodation setting

Desirables:

  • Full UK Driving license with car
  • Knowledge of the benefits system
  • NVQ level 3 in health & social care

Salary: £12.21 – £15/hour
