We are currently hiring for a client of ours, which is a prestigious wedding and events venue on the Hampshire/Berkshire border. They are seeking an experienced Sous Chef to join its well-established kitchen team. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate and driven chef to work within a high quality, fresh-food environment delivering exceptional modern British cuisine for weddings and events.
The successful Sous Chef will be calm under pressure, self-motivated, and committed to maintaining the highest culinary standards while working alongside a professional and supportive team.
Essential requirements:- Minimum 2 years experience in a similar Sous Chef position
- Experience catering for 100+ covers using fresh ingredients
- Strong background in quality food-led establishments
- Strong kitchen management and communication skills
- Own transport essential due to location
- Excellent work-life balance with approximately 45 hours per week
