We are looking for an experienced Strip & Refit Technician to join a busy vehicle repair team based in Hoo, Medway. This is a great opportunity for a skilled technician who is confident working on vehicles and has strong attention to detail.
The Role
- Removing and refitting vehicle components as part of the repair process.
- Stripping vehicles prior to repair.
- Removing damaged panels, trims and components.
- Refitting panels and vehicle components following repairs.
- Working alongside panel beaters and other technicians.
- Ensuring all components are correctly fitted and functioning.
- Maintaining a clean and organised working area.
- Following health and safety procedures.
About You
- Have previous experience in a Strip & Refit Technician or similar role.
- Have good knowledge of vehicle components and bodywork.
- Be confident using hand and workshop tools.
- Have excellent attention to detail.
- Be able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Take pride in producing a high standard of work.
- Be reliable and hardworking.
- Have your own transport / be able to drive, as the Hoo location can be difficult to access by public transport.
