Audit Senior / Audit Semi Senior Responsibilities

As an Audit Senior or Audit Semi Senior, your duties will include

  • Planning and delivering audit assignments for a varied client portfolio
  • Leading audit fieldwork both on site and remotely
  • Preparing audit files and working papers
  • Performing substantive and analytical audit testing
  • Identifying audit risks and reporting key findings
  • Preparing statutory accounts under FRS 102
  • Assisting with audit completion and finalisation
  • Reviewing work prepared by junior auditors where appropriate
  • Supporting and mentoring trainees and junior team members
  • Building strong client relationships and acting as a key point of contact
  • Working closely with Managers and Partners on complex assignments

Requirements

  • Audit Semi Senior
  • AAT qualified or ACA/ACCA part qualified
  • Previous audit experience within an accountancy practice
  • Experience working with SME and owner managed business clients
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ambition to progress within audit and assurance
  • Audit Senior
  • ACA or ACCA qualified, finalist or qualified by experience
  • Strong audit and accounts experience within practice
  • Experience leading audit assignments from planning through to completion
  • Ability to supervise junior staff and review work
  • Excellent client facing and relationship management skills
