We are currently recruiting for an experienced Level 2 Pest Control Technician to join an established pest control business, covering Middlesbrough and the surrounding areas. This is a van-based position offering a competitive basic salary of circa £29,000, with the opportunity to increase earnings through overtime and commission.
The Role
- Managing a portfolio of customers across the Middlesbrough area
- Carrying out inspections, treatments and preventative pest control services
- Carrying out routine pest control inspections and treatments
- Identifying and treating a range of pest issues
- Managing your own diary and customer portfolio
- Providing customers with professional advice and recommendations
- Completing service reports and relevant documentation
- Identifying opportunities for additional pest control services
- Maintaining high standards of customer service
- Ensuring all work is completed safely and in line with industry regulations
Requirements
- Level 2 / RSPH Level 2 Award in Pest Management or equivalent
- Previous experience working as a Pest Control Technician
- A full UK driving licence
- Good knowledge of common pest species, treatments and prevention methods
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- The ability to manage your own workload and work independently
