Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise Classes: Oversee lessons across various subjects and year groups (Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4).
- Deliver Pre-Prepared Work: Ensure students stay on task and complete the work left by their classroom teacher.
- Classroom Management: Effectively manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies to maintain a positive and productive learning environment.
- Feedback: Report back to teaching staff on student progress, engagement, and any behavioural incidents.
Requirements:
- Experience working with young people is highly desirable (e.g., in a school, coaching, youth work, or similar capacity).
- Strong classroom management skills and the confidence to lead groups of students.
- Resilience, adaptability, and the ability to thrive in fast-paced school environments.
- A proactive, reliable, and professional approach.
- A valid enhanced DBS check (or willingness to apply for one).
