Senior Structural Engineer

First People Solutions is currently working with an award-winning consulting engineer in Glasgow who have years of experience delivering innovative engineering designs across a wide range of sectors.
In this role, you’ll take the lead on structural engineering projects, from concept and design through to analysis and delivery, you’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring project success.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong technical and leadership skills-whether you’re an experienced Engineer ready to step up or a Senior Engineer looking for a sideways move – we want to hear from you!
What we’re looking for:
- Degree in Structural Engineering or Civil Engineering
- Chartered Engineer status preferred (IStructE / ICE)
- 8-12 years’ experience working within a UK design engineering environment
- Strong knowledge across all stages of concept and design
- Confident managing multiple projects to deadlines
- Skilled in overseeing and developing a team
- Proficient in relevant design software
- Full, clean UK driving licence
