Kingston Barnes has an exciting opportunity for a Field Service Engineer.

The Company: With the company’s success continuing to grow steadily, they are looking at expanding the work force on site and in the field in order to maintain sales. They are a market leader within their sector. The business has shown consistent growth and is constantly developing new systems to maintain their competitive advantage in existing markets. The successful Field Service Engineer will receive support and development which will provide you with an excellent opportunity to further yourself and progress your career within a continually expanding business.

The Role: The role will be a mixture of workshop, installs, commissioning and field maintenance of OEM plant machinery. Engineers must live in commutable distance of the site in Wirral. Engineers will work at the workshop in Wirral on projects and or overhauling equipment that has come back from customer sites. Engineers will be required to perform field service and installs on and off over the year; all stay away, fuel and transport is provided.

Skills Qualifications required:

  • Electrical, mechanical or multi-skilled backgrounds
  • Field Service / Customer Engineering experience (Static site will also be considered)
  • Happy to be flexible and travel UK and worldwide when required
  • High Speed FMCG machinery experience
  • Recognised Engineering Qualification
  • PLC Understanding, ideally modification experience
  • Clean license

Candidates must be eligible to live and work in the UK to apply for this position.

Salary: £45000 - £55000/annum + car + stayaway allowance + pension
