We are seeking a passionate and innovative individual to join our Autism Resource (The ARCH) at Caterham High School. The role aims to support children and young people with additional needs across key stages KS3 to KS5, delivering a bespoke and individualised curriculum within a culture of inclusion and high expectations.
Responsibilities
- Support the teaching of specific programmes for children and young people, delivering a bespoke and individualised curriculum covering National Curriculum subjects (KS3/KS4) and Study Programmes (Post-16) as well as interventions mentioned in students' EHCP.
- Assist in the development of provision at all key stages, including KS5, and work within the inclusive sixth form as well as KS3/KS4.
- Collaborate with the Access and Inclusion Department to support a Pathway approach to the main curriculum, including Deaf Provision, Zen Den, EAL Provision, and other pathways to meet need.
- Maintain good professional relationships with all members of the Caterham High School community.
