Assistant Bar Manager
We are looking to an appoint an experienced and passionate Assistant Bar Manager to oversee the organisation, management and administration of all operational aspects of the Le Magritte Bar and Terrace at The Beaumont Mayfair. You will have the experience and character to act on behalf of and represent the Bar Director in their absence, taking pride in the position of the Bar within the Food & Beverage Department.
Our ideal candidate will:
- Continually seek to advance customer profile knowledge and record information within our database to help others.
- Identify training needs within the bar team and to advise the Bar Director accordingly.
- Assist in the preparation and implementation of the company’s training plan.
- Assist in the continued evolution of staff welfare through briefing and de-briefing, highlighting individual’s weaknesses providing support, encouragement and assistance as necessary.
- Ensure the company’s core values of hospitality and the relevant Forbes standards are adhered to at all times.
- Communicate effectively with each other on all levels and at all times. This includes service to service handovers, service reports, staffing issues, procedural issues, and customer issues so that all bar staff, Headwaiters and Managers have the same information.
