Sous Chef – Manchester (New Opening) at Caterer.com

Location: Soho House Manchester, St John’s area, in the heart of the city. The venue includes multiple facilities and a members’ restaurant and bedrooms across several floors.

The Role

As Sous Chef, your duties will include recruiting and training new employees, adhering to allergy procedures and food preferences, and working with the Executive and Head Chef on developing new menu options. You will be the driving force behind the food offering, ensuring it is seasonal, relevant and appealing to our members and guests. You will have in-depth health and safety knowledge, ensuring standards are kept in line with HACCP.

Physical Requirements

  • Must be able to seize, grasp, turn and hold objects by hand
  • Able to work on your feet for at least 8 hours
  • Able to kneel, bend, crouch and climb as required

Expected Working Hours

  • Varying shift times across the seven days, to include evenings, weekends, opens & closes
  • Average hours 45 per week
