Overview
Electric House is located on Portobello Road next to one of the cityβs oldest cinemas. The club features a roof garden with an original domed ceiling, plus a programme of member events and late-night parties. An all-day menu is served in the main area on the first floor with an extended oak bar, and a choice of informal lounge seating.
The Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Chef de Partie to join our West London team at Electric House (W11 2ED). Your main responsibility is to ensure that the food we deliver to our members is of the highest quality. This includes preparing food before service, setting up and stocking kitchen stations and plating to company standards.
Main duties
- Set up and prepare the designated kitchen station ahead of service.
- Cook and plate dishes to specification, maintaining high presentation standards.
- Assist with food preparation tasks such as marinating, chopping, and precooking.
- Ensure all ingredients and equipment are ready and organised (mise en place).
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the workstation throughout service.
- Support with deep cleaning duties at the end of service.
- Wrap, label, and store ingredients correctly in line with food safety standards.
- Follow all health, safety, and hygiene regulations consistently.
