Cater Wight are the Isle of Wight's leading commercial catering and laundry equipment specialist. We supply, service and install catering and laundry equipment across all sectors from cafes and pubs to schools, care homes and the NHS. From individual appliances to full kitchen refits and schemes. We are sales and service agents for all the leading manufacturers including Rational, Electrolux Professional, Blue Seal, Falcon and Lincat.
We are looking for an experienced Commercial Catering and Laundry Equipment engineer to join our busy team. The role is island based and involves working on a broad range of both gas and electrical equipment. The ideal candidate will be confident in fault finding, repair and service and will feel comfortable in what is a customer facing role providing good advice and solutions to our clients. Working not only independently but also part of a team, we will provide a van, tools, tablet and equipment to ensure you are equipped to do the job.
Ideally you will be gas qualified with COMCAT 1, 3 & 5 and a good understanding and experience of electrical work; 18th Edition would be an advantage. Further manufacturer and update training is available and part of the job in order to keep up with equipment advances. The changeover from domestic to commercial gas qualifications would be considered for the right candidate as well as training on commercial laundry equipment if there is no prior experience.
The role is Monday to Friday and comes with 33 days holiday (including bank & public holidays).
