Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, execute and supervise audits for corporate, charitable and public-sector clients.
  • Lead and coach audit teams, providing performance feedback and professional development.
  • Maintain primary client contact for audit engagements, ensuring strong relationships and satisfaction.
  • Deliver audits on time, within budget, and in line with UK GAAP, IFRS and ISA standards.
  • Review and sign off audit work-papers, reports and recommendations.
  • Identify significant audit findings, assess risks and present actionable recommendations to senior management.
  • Contribute to business development by preparing proposals and delivering client presentations.
  • Keep abreast of regulatory changes, industry best practices and emerging risks.
  • Participate in internal quality control reviews and continuous improvement initiatives.

Essential Qualifications

  • ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent professional accounting qualification.
  • Current practising certificate (if required).
  • Full membership of a recognised professional body.
