For over 20 years, the company has delivered fresh food solutions to pupils and staff at Primary Schools, Secondary Schools and Colleges across the UK, catering more than 1,000,000 meals a week. Our Fresh Food Policy is the foundation of our success and growth, coupled with a desire to truly deliver on the promises we make to our clients and support our site‑based teams.
Relief Chef/Catering Manager – covering the Thanet, Faversham, Dover & Canterbury area. This role is term‑only, working Tuesday & Thursday during term‑time, 12 hours per week over 39 weeks. It is a mobile‑based position, so your own transport is required. No weekends are scheduled, which provides flexibility for those looking for a working schedule that fits around other commitments.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, cook and present food to the standards required by Caterlink and the client.
- Ensure that the location meets statutory and company requirements of Health & Safety, Food Safety and environmental legislation and procedures.
- Enhance the company’s reputation for excellent food and service by exceeding client and customer expectations.
- Support the day‑to‑day running of the location and supervise teams, including managing inventories, monitoring budgets and implementing action plans.
