We are hiring a Chef Manager for our Portsmouth location. This role is term-time only, involves no weekends, offers flexibility, and pays £13.52 per hour for 30 hours per week (Monday-Friday).
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, cook and present food to the standards required by Caterlink and the client.
- Ensure that the location meets statutory and company requirements of Health and Safety, Food Safety and environmental legislations and procedures.
- Enhance Caterlink's reputation for excellent food and service with the client and customers, exceeding expectations.
- Manage the day-to-day running of the location, supervising teams, managing inventories, monitoring budgets, and implementing action plans.
- Act as the main point of contact for our client in the school, recommending and implementing regular adjustments and improvements.
- Communicate regularly with the line manager to monitor KPIs and financial targets and ensure they are achieved.
- Support and train teams, lead from the front to ensure all training is completed and performance is managed.
Qualifications
- Cooking experience is essential.
- Experience with food hygiene and health and safety.
