For over 20 years, the company has delivered fresh food solutions to pupils and staff at Primary Schools, Secondary Schools and Colleges across the UK, catering for more than 1,000,000 meals a week. Our “Fresh Food Policy” is the foundation of our success and growth, coupled with a desire to truly deliver on the promises we make to our clients and support our site‑based teams.
We are hiring a Catering Manager for St Marks Primary School. This role works term‑time only, with no weekends, ideal for those seeking flexibility.
- ÂŁ13.50 per hour
- 35 hours per week – Monday to Friday
- Term‑time only – 39 weeks per year
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare, cook and present food to the standards required by Caterlink and the client.
- Ensure the location meets statutory and company requirements of Health and Safety, Food Safety and environmental legislations and procedures.
- Enhance Caterlink’s reputation for excellent food and service with the client and customers, consistently exceeding expectations.
- Be responsible for the day‑to‑day running of the location and supervise teams, including managing inventories, monitoring budgets, and implementing action plans.
- Act as the main point of contact for our client in the school, recommending and implementing regular adjustments and improvements.
- Communicate regularly with line manager to monitor KPIs and financial targets, ensuring they are achieved.
- Support and train teams, leading by example to ensure all training is completed and performance is managed.
