We are hiring a Catering Assistant at The Ridgeway Primary, Reading, to perform a variety of food production tasks and food service in our schools. This role is term-time only and does not include weekends, making it ideal for those seeking flexibility.
- £12.21 per hour
- 16 hours per week, Monday to Friday
- Term-time only – 38 weeks per year, plus 3 compulsory cleaning days (total 193 days)
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Assisting in the preparation of tasty food and snacks
- Ensuring compliance with Caterlink Health and Safety and Food Safety standards and procedures
- Maintaining cleanliness of the kitchen, counter, and restaurant areas
- Providing friendly, efficient, and hygienic service to all customers
- Representing Caterlink and maintaining a positive brand image
