Job Details
- Role: Catering Manager
- Location: Tollgate Primary School, Newbury
- Salary: ÂŁ13.35 per hour
- Hours: 30 hours per week
- Schedule: Monday – Friday
- Term-time only
Note: The role is term-time only with no weekends, offering flexibility for suitable applicants.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, cook and present food to the standards required by Caterlink and the client.
- Ensure the location meets statutory and company requirements for Health and Safety, Food Safety and environmental legislation and procedures.
- Maintain and enhance the company’s reputation for excellent food and service, consistently meeting client and customer expectations.
- Manage day-to-day operations of the location and supervise teams, including inventories, budget monitoring, and implementing action plans.
- Serve as the main point of contact for the client in your school, making regular adjustments and improvements as needed.
- Communicate with your line manager to monitor KPIs and financial targets to ensure they are achieved.
- Support and train teams, lead from the front to ensure everyone can excel, complete training, and manage performance.
