For over 20 years, the Company has delivered fresh food solutions to pupils and staff at Primary Schools, Secondary Schools and Colleges across the UK. The company caters more than 1,000,000 meals a week. Our “Fresh Food Policy” is the foundation of our success and growth in the market coupled with a desire to truly deliver on the promises we make to our clients and support our site-based teams.
We are looking for a Food Transport Driver based in the Nomanton, Wakefield area who wants to ensure our future generations are provided with nutritionally balanced and tasty food. We are looking for a friendly, hard-working and approachable team member to transport meals and food products from various locations to agreed sites within the area as required. You will be a vital part of the team, ensuring that deliveries are accurate and on time.
You will be responsible for making several deliveries per day and should be self-motivated, have lots of initiative and great planning skills. Our meals and food products need to be delivered to strict deadlines so organisation is key. You should be passionate about delivering an efficient service to our sites whilst ensuring we maintain great customer service and high food safety standards.
With Caterlink you will have an excellent work/life balance – working term-time only and no weekends so this role is great for those looking for flexibility. Caterlink is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and vulnerable adults and expects all employees to share this commitment. An enhanced DBS disclosure will be obtained and a Full UK Driving licence is needed for this role.
Salary: ÂŁ12.21 per hour
Working hours: 10 hours per week – Monday to Friday

Qualifications:
- Minimum one years’ driving experience
- ESSENTIAL – No more than 6 points on driving licence; business insurance
- Multi-drop delivery experience is preferred but not essential
