Caterlink is the education sector catering specialist. For over 20 years, the Company has delivered fresh food solutions to pupils and staff at Primary Schools, Secondary Schools and Colleges across the UK. The company caters more than 1,000,000 meals a week. Our “Fresh Food Policy” is the foundation of our success and growth in the market coupled with a desire to truly deliver on the promises we make to our clients and support our site-based teams.

We are looking for an experienced Operations Manager to manage a group of schools across the North West region, including Bradford, Stoke, Manchester and Liverpool. This portfolio will consist of a mix of primary schools, secondary schools and colleges. This is a 52-week role, working Monday to Friday.

Job Description:

  • Lead, inspire, collaborate and support your direct reports to deliver consistently exceptional standards
  • Build positive, credible and collaborative relationships & communication methods with clients and other key stakeholders in the business
  • Continually look to develop your team through mentoring, training, recognition, and empowerment
  • Create a culture of excellence with your team, continually striving to push the boundaries of brilliance through natural caring service, obsessive food standards and innovation
  • Achieve business critical KPI's including Health and Safety, Sustainability, Financial and Governance

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as an operator within a similar business to Caterlink
  • Understanding and background within the Education sector
  • Able to manage fixed price locations
  • The ability to work with a range of clients within a diverse environment
  • Manage a high level of employees
  • Successful applicants will be required to complete an enhanced DBS disclosure.
