Cater Care is seeking a Second Chef to support the Head Chef in delivering high-quality, high-volume catering. This is a hands-on role with opportunity to develop leadership capability while working in a structured, supportive environment. You will be involved in daily kitchen operations, staff support, and maintaining consistent food quality and service standards.

Key Responsibilities
- Overseeing kitchen operations, staff supervision, training, and rosters
- Performing all aspects of kitchen work, including bulk cooking and tray service
- Preparing high-volume meals to specification with consistent quality and presentation
- Ensuring compliance with food safety, hygiene, WHS, and cleanliness standards
- Acting as a liaison between Front of House and kitchen teams
About You
- Trade qualification in Commercial Cookery (or equivalent)
- Food Safety Supervisor Certificate (preferred or willing to obtain upon commencement)
- Previous experience as a Chef or Second Chef in a similar environment
- Strong organisation, multitasking, and time-management skills
- Confident communicator with the ability to support team coordination
- Working With Children Check and National Criminal History Check (or willingness to obtain)
