Our client develops turnkey projects for large facilities, for both own and third parties, and offers Operation and Maintenance services. They are currently present in the leading markets: Germany, France, Italy, Spain and Latin America, as well as through strategic agreements with major partners in countries such as Israel and the United Kingdom. As part of their plans of setting up their independent operations in the UK, they are looking for a Project Developer for identifying potential opportunities in the region.

Job Description

  • Identification of new opportunities
  • Negotiation with landlords
  • Lead prefeasibility studies
  • Deal with DNO’s
  • Set relationships with consultants for Planning Application
  • Negotiate with suppliers BOS deliveries
  • Negotiations projects with stakeholders, utility companies, manufacturers etc.
  • Driving, performing and/or guiding the steps of obtaining full permitted sites for PV development and construction
  • Preparation of economic analysis and forecasts as well as preparation of project related business cases
  • Working experience dealing with PPA’s, FIT, ROC and any other sale of energy mechanism

Qualifications

  • At least 3-5 years’ experience in similar job role, preferable in Renewable Energy
  • At least 2 years of experience in the PV Solar Sector
  • Strong understanding how to develop green field projects
  • Strong business and operational understanding: Solar technology, Grid connected plants, Civil works, MV/LV Devices, Operations and Maintenance practices
  • Must be fluent in English (native level)
  • Has to be a team player and open to adapt and learn
  • Easygoing in personal relationships
  • Ability to deal with complex transactions
  • Currently living and working in the UK
