Pillar Staffing Group are currently recruiting Teaching Assistants to support schools across Blackpool and the surrounding areas. We work with a range of primary, secondary, and specialist settings, offering flexible opportunities to suit your availability.
This is a great opportunity for individuals with experience in education, or those looking to build further experience within school environments.
The Role
- Supporting pupils within the classroom, both in groups and on a 1:1 basis
- Assisting the class teacher with lesson delivery and classroom management
- Supporting students with additional needs, including SEN
- Encouraging positive behaviour and engagement in learning
- Helping to create a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience working with children or within a school setting
- A positive, proactive, and adaptable approach
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- A genuine passion for supporting children’s learning and development
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
Requirements
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
- Right to work in the UK
- References to cover the last 2 years
